Camps and Classes

Ready to learn more about rocketry? Expand on engineering? Our Science Saturday classes are now open for registration! Please see listings below for class descriptions and dates. These classes are open to individuals, families and groups. You may choose either the a.m. (10-12) or the p.m. (1-3) sessions. Classes are designed for participants ages 6-12. For scouting groups, classes meet some of the belt loop and patch requirements for designated area. By attending this event you consent to INFINITY Science Center's photography policy

January 14, 2017 Science Saturday Class: Space Exploration

Ancient explorers were guided by the stars and today’s explorers seek to be among the stars. In this engaging class, participants will learn about the night lights that guided early explorers and about the Solar System that beckons today’s explorers. Students and their chaperones will find out if they have the right stuff for space exploration. Cost for this class is $14 per student and $10 per adult.  Class is limited to 25 students and 10 adults.

February 11, 2017- Science Saturday Class: Rocketry

This fun and engaging class will have students participating in activities that will demonstrate Newton’s Laws and will introduce them to the basic components of rocketry. As a part of this class students will assemble and launch their own rocket. Cost for this class is $22 per student and $10 per adult. Class is limited to 25 students and 10 adults.

March 11, 2017   Science Saturday Class: Engineering 101

Engineering 101 is an informal engineering education program that actively engages students in fun, hands-on engineering activities and events. These engineering activities are designed for children ages 7-12 and their chaperones to be engaged as a team.  Cost is $14 per person adults and students. Class is limited to 25 students and 10 adults.
