Fred Haise is a renowned astronaut best known for his role as the Lunar Module Pilot on the Apollo 13 mission. His career with NASA spans numerous missions, including serving as a backup crew member for Apollo 8, 11, and 16, and commanding three of the five Approach and Landing Tests of the Space Shuttle Enterprise. Haise’s dedication and contributions to space exploration have inspired countless individuals and continue to be a beacon of resilience and ingenuity.

Fred Haise is also a hero to INFINITY Science Center. His extensive groundwork and unwavering support were instrumental in making INFINITY possible. His commitment to education and exploration has helped shape the center into the inspiring institution it is today.

Own a piece of space history with our limited-edition Mission Patch Cards, personally autographed by Fred Haise, Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 13. Despite the challenges faced during the Apollo 13 mission, Haise's legacy of resilience and ingenuity shines through. Haise also served as a backup crew member for Apollo 8, 11, and 16 missions and was slated to command Apollo 19 before it was canceled.
