Earn 6 CEUs by working with the Education Team at INFINITY Science Center.
As an Outreach Ambassador, you will work alongside INFINITY Science Center’s education team. You will learn, demonstrate, and evaluate engaging science activities that you can later use in your own classroom. Outreach Ambassadors must complete 60 hours of training and demonstrations to earn 6 CEUs.
Participants are required to attend 7 assigned events and 3 choice days (ten 6-hour days total). All hours must be completed to receive CEUs.
The registration fee is $50. A separate transcript fee of $40, payable to PRCC, will be due on your first day at INFINITY.

Earn 4 CEUs by working with the Educational and Museum Guide Departments at INFINITY Science Center.
As part of the Museum Studies Program, you will work side by side with staff to engage guests in STEM activities and gain insight into what it takes to run INFINITY Science Center. To earn 4 CEUs, participants must complete 40 hours within the program timeframe. Scheduling will be arranged based on your availability.
The registration fee is $50. On your first day, you will complete CEU paperwork and provide a check or money order for $40, made payable to PRCC, for transcript fees.

Opportunities for Child Care Facilities
INFINITY Science Center has MDH standing approval for Pre-K professional training. We offer four STEM-themed training sessions to choose from. Each training provides 2 contact hours, and educators leave with hands-on experience and take-home samples to engage their students in STEM.

Elementary Educators
Hands-on STEM Engagement for the Elementary Classroom

Middle & High School Educators
Learning Activities to Engage Middle School and High School Students in STEM
Earn 4 CEUs by working alongside the Educational Team at INFINITY Science Center! As part of the Artemis Camp program, you’ll engage in hands-on NASA Earth and Space STEM activities tailored for middle and high school classrooms. You’ll leave with new strategies, classroom-ready activities, and full access to all resources for future use with your students.

Camp FAQ for STAFF:
Camp staff time is 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, plus 5 hours of training the week before camp.
$10-$16 an hour based on experience and position.
You will receive a camp T-shirt at staff training. You may wear modest
shorts, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. This is camp, so dress comfortably.
All daily lessons and presentations are prepared for you. Required training allows you to review and adjust lessons to fit your teaching style. Any changes need to be approved by the camp director.
There is a minimum time required for outdoors. We usually do outdoor activities first thing in the morning to beat the heat.
We do not offer paid internships, but do offer an opportunity to earn community service hours for ages 13-16 if they work camp.
You must be 16 years old to be a paid counselor for camp. Preference will be given to any who successfully earned community service hours during a prior year.
No, this is considered a contracted job only for the present camp time. We hire counselors based on camp registration numbers.
Payroll is done at the end of each week of camp.
